been using the wheel for a couple of years now and as a 40 something female my body is as tight as it was in my 20s if not more all thanks to the wheel and the swiss ball, if only more females got into this kind of exercise instead of moaning about their flabby bits. thanks for this vid x
i know wut u mean im 11 but i still use it
I do a combination of ab exercises with and without the ab roller to diversify the workout routine.
i heard youre NOT supposed to rest when youre all the way extended, you should go out and come back in one fluid motion, not stop half way thru
how should your back be when doing this, as my lower back tends to ache or is that normal?
It’s normal for your back to ache during ab/back exercises.
It’s two motions – out and back. There’s no pause between, but you do have to stop so you can change direction.
good to hear! using the ab wheel is indeed better than complaining about your current body and not doing anything about it!
Thks for the reply just another question. How should you breathe as you do each rep. Out on the roll out and IN on the roll back? Great video by the way.
I breathe in on the way out, then breath out as I roll back.
right… thanks
What is the true position?
There is so many different demo.
Is the knee should be close or apart?
Should the back rounded or stretch?
HOW FAST WILL I START SEEIN RESULTS?
Is it natural that im not going as low as that?
Does the Ab roller really work??? I saw one the other day at the store and it wasnt that expensive and i want to know if it works and if i use it will i see results. I already lost most of my belly fat by doing interval training now I want some definition to my stomach
yes. You just dont have as strong a core as him. The stronger you are, the farther forward you can lean.
@keybladechosn1 Certainly does work, and requires more core tension than most other exercises. However, it makes your abs harder but it does not give your abs a good definition in comparison to hanging leg raises.
I bought my ab roller the other day. It realy works and you can feel your abs chizziling out. Yet you should used a range of exersize with it. I tend to use my ab roller from standing up and back for my MMA.
Hope this helped you!
If you do martial arts, like I do (Muay Thai), this is great! Your abs get tough.
The correct technique for this exercise:
1) Elbows should be slightly bent throughout the repetition
2) The arms are stretched in a line with the torso and there should be no shoulder rowing movement involved. This way the exercise is focused towards the core
3) Do 8x set of 25 repetitions every other day. The first 4x are slow and the last 4x are fast. Leave 40 seconds between sets, or alternatively while you rest do some kettle bell
Results: With the this program you will see them in 2weeks
why does it hurt a little bit in my back?is it usual for a first timer?
u mite wana spread ur legs further apart for a week to just get used 2 it
check out other ab wheel videos and you know you are misleading people into back injuries
Is it normal that the lower back hurts more?
I cannot even stretch that far. I tried it for a while years ago. really worked. just bought it again, sore as hell. good cheap product
